The Potential & Blessings of this New Moon 9.6.2021
Dream, Heal, & Play
The New Moon reaches the beginning of its next cycle around 9 PM Monday this September 6th. With Chiron, the wounded healer and teacher, coming up on the horizon at the time of this New Moon- this should be a beginning of gentle healing.
While full moons bring endings and cleanse our lives and routines, riding us things that no longer serve us, new moons promise fresh starts, lighter beginnings budding full of potential and fresh air.
There is a childlike wonder in the energy of this New Moon. It's quiet and subtle. The damage done from the healing and purging of the months prior has left us here ready for this moment of sunshine in the clear open metaphysical field of our lives. We took out the rubble. We've obliterated what elements we could that trapped and confined our inner children. Now, after all this destruction, the inner child has the time, space, and a freshly cleared path to play. Be prepared for them to be timid while they regain their confidence. I encourage you to approach this innocent playfulness at the moment of this New Moon with a gentle welcoming for them. Greet them with open arms and acceptance; check your judgment and shame at the door. Spend time dreaming about your most naive and purest desires- there will be time to ground them in reality later. Nothing is too big, too wild, or silly. There has been so much change, and time has been moving so quickly. We require rest and a lift from the consistent pressure we've been enduring. Embrace creativity, bandage up the open wounds this last cycle may have left you with- you'll have time for a different kind of healing right now. While picking up the pieces needed to rebuild routine and stability once again, place them now like legos. Nurture a space for curiosity and imagination, but most importantly, remember to have some fun now.
Watch light-hearted movies, paint, make things with your hands, dance like no one is watching. No movement is too odd for the Moon to see.
Sending you all my love,
Milo
